Building veteran communities is our strength, our veteran carp angling community is one great example. We are now in a position to build another community through the love of football.
How it Started
The inspiration behind starting our own football community came from Mike Barrett from Crowborough Athletic FC.
I first met Phoenix Heroes about 4-4.5 years ago when they were just starting out and really liked them as people and as a cause. I jumped in and did some fundraising with them both myself and with the company I work for. Since then, they’ve gone from strength to strength, and I’ve seen the great work they do. Our Aim
We aim to build a veteran community across the UK through the love of football and make our community inclusive for all standards of players.
Our Vision
Our vision is to grow our community and play football matches around the UK against other veteran football teams, creating a movement to grow and develop.
There is nothing stronger than a veteran community!

What to expect...
It is early days and our first game in May 2023 at Crowborough Athletic FC was a great success, we are hoping to then take our community football to another level by attracting sponsorship and organising a UK wide football competition. We already have two teams formed from different parts of the UK and we would like to grow this and build a squad of players made up of veterans, serving members of the Armed Forces and their families.
