TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT
As an additional support service we are offering those that are ready to make a change in career direction a chance to look at other employment opportunities. We are opening up our employment networks across the UK and overseas to our veterans and their families.
HOMELESS VETERANS
There is a connection between our homeless veterans and mental health, each year we do our bit for our homeless veterans. We will continue to raise awareness on this issue and work with other veteran organisations to try and make a difference.
TRAINING & EMPLOYMENT
Our network is very veteran friendly and the event industry is a fantastic arena for networking and socialising. Through our close friends and associates we are able to offer various career options to our veterans, giving them an advantage to access a number of roles within the industry on a seasonal basis.
Wagtail UK Ltd have kindly offered their training services and we will be working together to get as many suitable veterans on the dog handling courses. Our Event & Security networks offer SIA Door Supervisors / Stewarding positions across the spectrum of events on a seasonal basis.

CARP FISHING
Within our team we have some keen carp anglers and a UK and EU network of fisheries that have offered their support to our veterans and families. Throughout the local support projects we want to extend these fishing breaks to those that have truly become "hooked" on fishing.
For those carp anglers out there, you will fully understand how fishing can become your go to place when you want to chill and relax, it becomes a focus and look forward to activity and keeps your spirits high! For these reasons we want to fill the diary with fishing breaks, competitions and local community support projects. We now have our own Carp Fishing Club and have some great things planned for the future.
Steve and Mark, owners of Etang Cache in France have offered Phoenix Heroes veterans a free one weeks fishing each year. The lake is absolutely stunning with a healthy stock of carp to weights over 50lb.
HOMELESS VETERANS
Each year we focus on helping our homeless veterans, we aim to raise awareness and provide a range of support options to try and get our guys and girls off the streets. We do this by working alongside some of the best organisations in the UK. In 2018, just before Christmas we released a short film named For Queen & Country, we have continued this into 2019 and our second film was released in January.
It is because of the valued commitment from the Phoenix Heroes team and our partnering companies that we are able to offer a range of services in support of our veterans, the short films that we make are raising awareness around the country and we are making a huge difference to peoples lives. There is a strong connection between PTSD and being homeless.
For Queen & Country

Mission Statement
Our mission is to raise awareness across the UK about the high number of veterans that are dealing with mental health difficulties and help our veterans and their families live a normal life again. Through our networks we want to provide the support to as many veterans as possible so they can take part in the outdoor activity days being delivered across our communities UK wide.
Vision
We have a shared vision that we can create veteran communities through outdoor and sporting activities and make a huge difference to peoples lives. We want the UK to recognise Phoenix Heroes as reputable support platform for our veterans and their families who are dealing with mental health difficulties and finding the transition of leaving the Armed Forces a struggle.
Every penny helps make a huge difference!
