Hello guest
Your basket is empty
Today we spent time meeting our local community businesses coupled with meetings with our local councillor Dave Harris. The aim of today was to ask local businesses to support Phoenix Heroes in raising awareness to what we are doing in support of our veterans and families who are dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), just get the word out there was the message of the day!
We are pleased to say that each day, more and more local businesses of the Colchester Town Centre are showing their support, Colchester is the home of 16 Air Assault Brigade, the Governments Elite and most called upon Brigades in the British Army, our Founder & CEO served 10 years with the Brigade and knows full well how important the interaction with the local community really is. It makes perfect sense for our local communities to show their support in any capacity as this is a Garrison Town.

Chocodolly

We met Suzes today from Chocodolly, a vintage style fashion business. Suzes was very understanding on how important the Armed Forces and their families are to our community, she comes from a military family background which is quite fitting. Pop in and say hello, some eye catching fashion and a very nice set up.
Thank You!

Matrix

Had a good chat with Kevin, without hesitation he pledged his support to Phoenix Heroes. He has been doing business here for many years now so he has met hundreds of our guys and girls over the years. As many of his customers are forces personnel he has a great understanding of the difficulties that are faced. Very nice man and genuine, his shelves are packed ready with a quality range of products.
Thank You!

Dave Harris Local Councillor

We messaged Dave late yesterday to see if we could meet up with him the next day, we had a reply within minutes confirming that he would make the effort to meet us. This is how Dave works, we have known him for a few years now and he is a peoples person and genuinely wants to help.

Dave and his team have pledged their support to Phoenix Heroes and will help us raise awareness to our communities over the coming months. The Colchester Town Community Hub is a great asset and we recommend that people come and visit it as there is much going on.
Thank You!

BACCUS

I love this shop! Paul has agreed to support Phoenix Heroes and raise awareness for us. These guys have been going for some years now and I know many of the lads from the Garrison talk very highly of them too.
Thank You!

Since our last meeting only a couple of weeks ago we have so much to update everyone on. We are certainly making some great progress, receiving some fantastic support from local organisations and UK wide supporters.

We have aligned ourselves with some credible veteran companies and looking forward to capturing all activity to date in our monthly roundup news letter.

The BFBS team here in Colchester are really helpful and very supportive in what we are doing. Thank You!

Harpers Cafe

Doug has offered his support to Phoenix Heroes, we will be visiting Doug and Harper's on a regular basis as we have named it as our coffee morning go to place. The service, food and coffee are all first class coupled with a very relaxed atmosphere, we could not ask for anything better!
