It was during our Greatful Productions filming in December 2018 in London when we found a Veteran named Bob and his Dog Harry that had been living as a rough sleeper for 5 years. Since meeting Bob and Harry, our Patron Tracy Morris has spent the last 12 Months supporting them on a regular basis, he is now known as Mr Phoenix in the area where Bob was sleeping rough. During this time Tracy arranged support for Bobs dog Harry through a fantastic organisation called Dogs on The Streets Charity who provided food and veterinary services.
Through the help and dedication of other support organisations they have secured accommodation for both Bob & Harry, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. Twelve months have now passed and we are so lucky that our Patron Tracy Morris has always been there for Bob and Harry, we are so fortunate to have such a kind and generous individual on our team, thank you Tracy from all at Phoenix Heroes!
We were very fortunate for our Patron to have caught Bob and Harry in their usual place prior to being homed the following day, we wish them both all the best and will remain in touch with them. After sleeping rough on the streets in 2018 it had taken us 48hrs to find Bob and Harry, staying in touch has proven to have played a vital part to this good news story.
Bob & Harry's Last Night
For Queen & Country Pt1
Phoenix Heroes would like to thank all those organisations out there that have given Bob & Harry a chance to get their lives back on track again, we would also like to say thank you to all those that followed this story and shown their support throughout. Everyone involved from Phoenix Heroes, especially Tracy Morris can also give themselves a pat on the back for supporting the film and spending time on the streets during a very cold month, thank you!
