What we are doing...

This Christmas we aim to put a smile on as many faces as possible, for many, this time of year can be a difficult one and although it is the time to be merry, some people do need a little help to get through the festive season. We hope that our Christmas activity this year will help bring people together and inspire others to show their own kindness to those that need a little help.

Christmas Bait Hampers

Starmer Ltd are kindly donating a selection of carp fishing bait to our veterans fishing team.

The week prior to Christmas we will be distributing essential items to the homeless people of Colchester.

Veterans Hampers

15th Dec

We are providing a number of Christmas Hampers to our local veterans and families.

Coffee & Mince Pies

20th Dec

Hawk Farm have kindly invited our veterans and families for coffee & mince pies on the 20th Dec 1pm - 3pm

Veterans Christmas Dinner

22nd Dec

Hawk Farm have kindly offered to serve Christmas Dinner to a small group of our local veterans on the 22nd Dec

Phoenix Heroes Carp Fishing

20th Dec

Over the last year we have had a selection of fishing equipment donated to us from the general public, Angling Direct and the British Disabled Angling Association (BDAA). This has enabled us to form our own Carp Fishing team. Members of our team will be receiving a range of fishing equipment to help them get more involved.

Twilight Encounters

8th & 20th Dec

Twilight Encounters will be joining us at Culver Square on the 8th Dec & our coffee / mince pie afternoon on the 20th Dec. Everyone will get the chance to meet Worzel, Twilight and Phoenix.
